About

I am Dave Wolf, the Director of Instructional Design and Online Learning at SUNY Schenectady. I believe that technology should bring us together, allow us to work and communicate across the globe, and be used to promote learning. With these goals we should be able to help make the world a better place.

I am a graphic artist who researched artificial intelligence and cognitive modeling to better develop theories of human problem solving and learning. I have over twenty years of experience in academic instruction. Since 1999,  I explored distance learning and worked in curriculum and instructional design in both the educational and private sector for over ten years. I have overseen the production of over 100 online courses, and over 50 of these are offered in at least eleven different languages. My specialties include: interactive learning activities and learning environments, the impact of visual and audio learning in e-learning, gamification, short video, applied learning and mobile learning.
